 Beverly Crusher, Star Trek TNG Yes, I'm a Star Trek TNG geek... I just watched episode 5 of season 4 titled "Remember Me." I remember watching this episode from my childhood. The character Beverly Crusher watches many people disappearing right before her eyes. The rest of the crew doesn't seem to notice that anyone is missing.
It reminded me that we're kind of like that too. Every day more than 150,000 people 'disappear' from this earth and myself and many others don't seem to notice. We don't really notice death until it happens to someone we know. What about our death? We will certainly notice that... I am ready to die (not that I want to...) but I am ready. Are you?
